You know those bouquets that come in the box at the grocery store? Twelve roses, some filler, plastic wrap. We don’t do that. Never have. Katy started this shop in 2016 specifically because she couldn’t find flowers anywhere in Austin that felt unexpected—that made you think, “Oh, that’s interesting,” instead of just “Oh, flowers.”
Every arrangement we design is one-of-a-kind. You’ll never order from us twice and get the same bouquet, unless you specifically ask for it. We’re constantly playing with new color combinations, testing which flowers pair well together, and asking ourselves: would this actually make us happy if someone gave it to us?

Our two bestsellers are The Unexpected (which changes every week but always includes at least one flower most people would never think to pair—like lisianthus with scabiosa and burgundy foliage) and The Confidence (a bold arrangement in jewel tones and metallics that doesn’t care what anyone thinks about it). Beyond those, everything is custom to your vision.
We also do subscription arrangements for people who just want fresh flowers every week without having to think about it. One customer has been getting a new arrangement every Monday for three years. She never knows what’s coming, and she loves that.
Occasions
Birthdays: We lean bold. Unexpected color combinations, high personality, something that makes the recipient actually smile instead of just nodding politely.
Anniversaries: Romantic but not cliché. We do a lot of garden roses with unusual foliage and interesting textures. The Home Team is our most-ordered anniversary arrangement—it’s built from flowers that remind us of Austin (bluebonnets, Indian paintbrush, local greenery when available).
Apologies & Celebrations: Whether you’re saying sorry or celebrating something, we’ll design something that feels genuine. We’ve done flowers for promotions, new jobs, “I adopted a dog,” divorce parties (yes, those are real and they’re fun), and “I’m finally done with chemotherapy.”
Condolences: Calm, respectful, thoughtful. We take extra time with these. We won’t just send pale flowers—we’ll ask about the person and design something that honors who they were.
Wedding & Events
Katy handles all wedding design and events. She’s done everything from intimate backyard ceremonies to elaborate ballroom installations for tech companies. She’s also designed flowers for proposals (a client once asked his partner to marry him in the middle of our studio while surrounded by flowers—it was a lot), bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, and corporate galas.
Consultations are free. We meet at the venue, talk about your vision and budget, and design something that feels like you. We typically need 10 weeks for weddings, but for smaller events we’re more flexible. We do installations, day-of coordination, and everything in between.
About Our Florists
Katy (founder, 2016) spent five years learning flower design in Seattle before moving to Austin and being disappointed by what she found. She decided to fix it herself. Marcus joined in 2019—he came from a background in graphic design and brings an aesthetic sensibility that’s unusual for florists. Elena started in 2021 as an apprentice and is now one of our strongest designers. Together, we believe flowers shouldn’t be safe. They should be interesting.
We’re always teaching. If you come into the studio and want to learn about floral design or just understand why we made certain choices, we’ll spend time explaining. We’ve had customers bring their kids in on rainy afternoons just to hang out and watch us work.
Delivery & Pickup
Same-day delivery: Order by 1pm, get flowers by 5pm (Austin proper, zip codes 78701–78741). Delivery is $10. For zip codes outside our immediate area, we offer next-day delivery.
Pickup: Free and encouraged. Stop by the studio (2614 East 6th Street, East Austin), watch us work, and chat about your arrangement. We’re open Tuesday–Saturday 10am–6pm.
All arrangements come with care instructions and a guarantee: if you’re not happy, call us and we’ll remake it. We take a lot of pride in our work.

FAQ
How fast can you deliver?
Same-day delivery by 5pm if you order by 1pm (Austin metro only). Next-day delivery to surrounding areas. Weekend orders are processed Monday morning.
What if I hate the substitution they make?
We call you before substituting anything significant. And if we send something and you don’t love it, you call us and we redo it. No questions asked. We stand behind every arrangement.
Can you do a custom design?
That’s literally all we do. Come in, call, or fill out our custom request form. Tell us your budget, occasion, color vibe, any flowers you love or hate. We’ll design something that’s uniquely yours.
Do you offer wedding consultations?
Yes, and they’re free. We typically need 10 weeks for wedding orders, but we can sometimes move faster. Katy handles all wedding design. Reach out early to secure your date.
